Lizzy May
Lizzy is a theatre artist and educator based in Oakland, CA. We met in high school and spent a lot of time at her family’s home after class, huddled over a large mixing bowl or a frying pan, sometimes gathered around the dinner table with her parents, her two sisters and their dog. I remember making olive tapenade with her mom once and wanted a food processor henceforth. I remember pancakes in the morning after a sleepover and hushed conversations about love, faith and family. Today, we continue on parallel trajectories, both of us excavating our past lives in search and service of living wholly in truth.
